Feb 7-8 | The Canton Community Open Pickleball Tournament
The Canton Chamber and Pick US Pickleball Club are proud to bring our community the largest pickleball tournament in Canton!
All pickleball enthusiasts are encouraged to join us on the courts (open to all levels of play).
- February 7-8, 2026
- Early Bird Special: $50 (available now through January 24)
- Each additional event is $20
What to expect: snacks and beverages, wellness professionals available throughout the tournament, special swag gifts, Pick US medals for the top 3 winners in each event, 50/50 raffle held each day, and of course, play pickleball!

Mar 19 | 21st Annual Multicultural Fair
The Multicultural Fair is a celebration of the wide variety of cultures on the Schoolcraft College campus and in our community. In addition to promoting cultural sensitivity and increasing an awareness and appreciation of other cultures, the Fair extends education beyond classroom walls by exposing students, faculty, and staff to a multi-ethnic experience where students take the lead in teaching others.
Held each year since 2001, the Fair features cultural displays from two dozen countries prepared by more than 100 Schoolcraft students, instructors, and staff, as well as their family and friends. At these tables, students actively share their culture with more than 3,000 visitors. Continuous performances highlight dance and music from an array of cultures. Demonstrations of henna painting and a dozen languages are also included in the day’s events.
Cross-cultural snacks from a variety of ethnic cuisines are provided free of charge by area restaurants and Schoolcraft’s Food Services. Guests are issued a “passport” at the door which they can get “stamped” at each country table they visit.
This event, created for students and community by students and community, is free of charge and open to the public.

Restaurants will have menu options from the $15, $20, or $40 price point to choose from.
