As the sixth largest credit union in Michigan, MSGCU has more than 140,000 members and 19 branch offices across Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, and Washtenaw Counties.

MSGCU is committed to giving back to our community and regularly collaborates with local first responders, educators, and community leaders to do so. We are proud to show our commitment to education, financial literacy, and our community by:

• Awarding over $100,000 annually in scholarships for high school students, educators, first responders, and students enrolled in
skilled trades programs; over $1 million has been awarded since the program’s inception.

• Awarding $45,000 annually in Classroom Cash Grants to support teachers in enhancing the learning experience through
classroom projects; funded over 1,000 projects since inception.

• Enhancing financial literacy by providing free programs, including interactive financial education, on-demand articles by
MSGCU experts, workshops, school and community presentations, workplace education, and personalized financial counseling.

• Giving back $1,000 annually to an organization in each branch community; $17,000 given in 2022.

• MSGCU has been honored as a Top Workplace by The Detroit Free Press for the past 10 consecutive years, and a Top Workplace
USA for the past two years.
