Canton is a great place to live and work.  Canton has matured from a small farming village into Michigan's 11th largest community.  New residential and commercial developments enhance Canton, as great attention is paid to architecture, building materials and landscaping.  However, we also respect our heritage by preserving and encouraging the adaptive reuse of historical structure.



Canton has a competitive edge over many area communties because of its central location, just 20 minutes from downtown Detroit, 10 minutes from Detroit Metrpolitan and Willow Run Airports.  Canton is located a the crossroads of M153 (Ford Road) and the I-275 Corridor.  It is also accessible from Michigan Avenue.  I-96 and I-94 lie to the north and south respectively, allowing for quick and easy access both into and out of the community.
