Ambassadors
This committee provides a communication link between the Chamber and its members. It also acts as the public relations arm of the Chamber with its members. The committee is responsible for new member recruitment and for an ongoing retention program. This group meets at noon, the third Tuesday of each month at the Chamber office.
Auction
The Auction Committee, led by the committee director, is responsible for planning and preparing for our Annual Chamber Auction. This committee shall take an active part in action necessary to accomplish this purpose including soliciting sponsors, prize donors and attendees. This is our largest fundraiser. The money is used to implement programs that benefit Chamber members and promote the business community. The 2008 Auction theme is "Margaritaville" and will be held April 11th, 2008 at the Burton Manor in Livonia.

Communications
The Communications Committee is responsible for reviewing Chamber processes regarding communication for upcoming events and programs and general Chamber publicity. The committee works to develop templates for press releases, upkeeps a project plan template, administers surveys, and explores possible new mechanisms for Chamber promotion.

Education
This committee works in partnering businesses with the three Canton school districts to help develop our future workforce. Businesses are encouraged to sign up for programs acting as a role model by mentoring students through job shadowing, classroom lectures, business site tours and co-op education programs.

Golf
The Golf Committee, led by the committee director, is responsible for planning and preparing the Annual Chamber Golf Classic. This committee shall take an active part in action necessary to accomplish this purpose including soliciting sponsors, golfers and prize donors. The money is used to implement programs that benefit Chamber members, promote the business community, and support the local Special Olympics. The Golf Classic is held in August at Pheasant Run Golf Club.

Government Relations
The mission of the Government Relations Committee is to plan the Good Morning Canton breakfasts, which provides an informal setting for business leaders and government officials to openly discuss issues affecting the business and residential communities. The committee also discusses current events and hosts a Candidates Forum during election years.

Grub Crawl
The Grub Crawl is an annual event that takes place at local restaurants. This committee shall be in charge of defining the details of the event, visiting local restaurants, coordinating volunteers, and marketing the event. The Grub Crawl is held on the fourth Tuesday of July from 6:30 – 10:30 pm.

Business Relations
This committee meets in the fall of each year to plan for the following year's luncheons. The committee is responsible for gathering ideas and information about guest speakers for the next year's luncheons.

Membership
The Membership Committee will develop and implement a plan to acquire and mentor New Members, including but not limited to Prospective Members, Member Orientation and Mentor Program. This committee meets monthly.
